ASHAR Students Published

We are very proud of the following students for their
accomplishments in creative writing!

Congratulations to Talia (" A Chanukah Miracle"), Brooke ("The Succot Tree") and Tali ("Hope to Last a Lifetime") from 8G whose original short stories have been accepted for publication by The Jewish Press. Talia's story will be included in the Chanukah edition, and Brooke's story will be in the Sukkos edition.
They wrote their stories in Dr. Schnur's honors English class this year.

Moshe B.-8th grade-was awarded a certificate of recognition for his short story entry "A Family United" in the Jewish Family Story category of the Jewish Heritage Contest.
 
The following students' poems have been accepted for publication by Creative Communications magazine. Their poems will be published in an anthology of young American poets:
Grade 3: Rafael and Joanthan
Grade 4: Eliana, Rachel, Shoshana, Rinat, Nofar, Dovi
Grade 5: Tamar K., Lauren
Grade 6: Chani, Yaffa, Rivky
