Congratulations to Kayla Schiffer of 8G.
Her winning sestina poem "Standing in Green" which was awarded the Gold Key regional award went to Nationals.
ASHAR was informed today that Kayla's poem won the National Gold Medal from the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers.
Kayla will be presented with her gold medallion at
Carnegie Hall in June.
