Congratulations to our Boys Torah Bowl Team!

The ASHAR boys are now the 2010 Junior Torah Bowl Champions.
The team left Monsey 7:00 a.m. this morning to daven at the 8:30 a.m. minyan at the Young Israel of Woodmere. At 10:30 a.m. the competition began with ASHAR facing the 2 other division winners, SAR and North Shore. The ASHAR boys were led by Aryeh Klein, Aaron Fishkind, Gabi Rosenthal, Isaac Selter, and Jesse Schwalb. The final score was ASHAR 99, SAR 33, and North Shore 20! These remarkable boys were coached by Rabbi Chaitovsky and were expert in the entire Sefer Bereshis with Rashi. The other teammates who helped them along were Zachary Doberman, Yoni Hammerman, Jeremy Borgen, and Mendy Friedman.
