Jan 6: Internet Safety Presentation

We are very excited to present a two part internet safety program. On January 6 our students in grades 5-8 will have an hour long presentation by Mr. Philip Rosenthal, an internet safety expert who is a member of the Orthodox community (and a parent of ASHAR graduates!). Mr. Rosenthal will help the students understand the dangers of the internet and teach them how to stay safe online. He will be available to answer questions as well.
In addition, that same evening, at 8 PM, the ASHAR PTA, in co-sponsorship with the Center for Applied Psychology at Bikur Cholim - Partners in Health and the East Ramapo Central School District, will host a community-wide parenting workshop on the same topic. We encourage all of our parents to attend this important, informational event so we can work together to keep our children safe. We look forward to seeing you there!
