Hello! I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Stacey Winkler and I teach social studies at ASHAR for grades 5, 7, and 8. I joined the faculty in January of 2008 and have been on board ever since! I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies Secondary Education and a Master's Degree in Middle School Special Education. I look forward to working with your children as we progress through the exciting world of Social Studies by bringing my excellent organizational and time management skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to engage students in the curriculum.Throughout the school year, I plan to have students actively engaged in our curriculum by adding activities to the classroom as a method of learning Social Studies and using the technology available to us in the classroom... a Smart Board! This is a very exciting piece of technology to have in the classroom and I look forward to the energy and knowledge it brings to our classes.
