Bio: Mrs. Donna Monticello is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck with a degree in Elementary Education. She has taught Second Grade and has over 25 years experience in computer technology.  She has worked for Panasonic and Equitable Life as a computer trainer for adults and as a network administrator. As an employee of the ComputerTots company she has taught Computer Engineering Classes to elementary school students at the Gifted Child Society and had been a Computer Technology teacher at a private elementary school in New Jersey. This is Mrs. Monticello's 6th year as ASHAR's computer teacher.

 All students in Grades Pre-K-8 receive

computer instruction once a week from

Keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Skills

 Our Computer Lab has been upgraded with new computers running Microsoft Office 2010! Students will review and learn many new things about computers, hardware, and the software, using Computer Explorers curriculum.

Additionally, students in Grades 1-3 will visit the computer lab twice weekly for SuccessMaker to practice Language Arts and Mathematics Skills.

Along with these opportunities come responsibilities to use the computer equipment in an appropriate manner.
