Home » Early Childhood » Early Childhood At ASHAR we believe that school is a place where your children should feel welcome, loved and safe.  Our goal is to create a nurturing and exciting atmosphere where your children will look forward to coming to school every morning.  We strive to incorporate Torah and Mitzvot into every part of our curriculum, which truly makes our lessons more meaningful and instills in our children love and pride of being part of Klal Yisrael. ASHAR’s Early Childhood Goals: · To make children’s first experiences in school positive and inspirational. · To create a warm and nurturing atmosphere where children feel welcome, loved and safe. · To build up children’s self-image so they feel confident to act independently. · To stress love and pride of being part of Klal Yisrael. · To immerse the children in the stories of the Torah and our love for Hashem. · To incorporate Torah and Mitzvot into every part of our curriculum. ASHAR’s Early Childhood Objectives: · Teach all subject matter in a hands on, fun and developmentally appropriate fashion. · Apply an integrated approach in teaching all units and themes. · Use multi-sensory and differentiated instruction to help all children learn. Programs in Early Childhood: NEW! Chalav U'Dvash Hebrew immersion program. Rosh Chodesh Assemblies. Mitzvah of the Month. Handwriting Without Tears at all three-grade levels. Music and Movement with Malky Lehmann. (Gym) Music with Moshe Kiss. Computer Tots for all Pre-K and Kindergarten children.
