ASHAR Home The Adolph Schreiber Hebrew Academy of Rockland (ASHAR) is a Modern Orthodox Yeshiva dedicated to teaching the essential building blocks of elementary education through a blending of Ahavat Israel and superior secular studies.  Founded more than 50 years ago, the yeshiva has stayed true to its mission and has graduated generations of observant and successful professionals and community leaders.   At ASHAR, Torah is not an aspect of life, but a way of life.  Within its walls, children from nursery through eighth grade learn the beauty of Judaism and the importance of supporting our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisrael while achieving the highest levels of academic success.    From our youngest students who are introduced to their first words of Torah to our oldest students who challenge our Rebeim to delve deeper into the texts, our students are surrounded by a warm and nurturing environment that provides the skills and support they need to move on to many of the region’s top yeshiva high schools.   Located on six picturesque acres in Monsey, NY, ASHAR is the only pro-Israel yeshiva in Rockland County. We are proud to introduce our “Sponsor a Day of Learning Program”. Commemorate a yahrtzeit, celebrate a birthday or anniversary, rejoice in a simcha or wish someone a speedy recovery by dedicating a day’s torah learning in their honor.
