When there is no bus transportation, arrival for Grades K-8 is at 8:30 AM with regular dismissal times.

Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Protocol:
In order to both ensure your children’s safety and minimize classroom disruptions, the following procedures for arrival and dismissal of individual students will be implemented this school year. We respectfully ask that this protocol be followed in all non-emergency situations.
- If you would like to pick your child up from school prior to dismissal, or you would like to carpool your child at regular dismissal time, rather than have him/ her take the bus, kindly email your request to dismissal@ashar.org before 2:00 PM on Mon.-Thu., or before 11:30 AM on Friday. Please do not call the school office, or email after these times, as we may not be able to accommodate.
- Please note that in order to minimize disruptions to classroom instruction, elementary school students who are leaving early must be picked up before 3:00 PM, and middle school students before 3:40 PM. We have found that dismissing students near day’s end significantly impacts other students’ remaining instruction time, and will no longer be doing so.
- For your children's safety, parents dropping off elementary and middle school (1-8) students after 9:00 AM, or ECP (N-K) students after 9:20 AM, must park and come into the front office to sign your child(ren) in.
- Similarly, parents picking up students at any time during the day must park and come inside to pick up your child(ren) and sign out. Children will no longer be sent out to waiting cars.

Early Drop-Off and After Care:
For early drop off and late pick up hours, please sign up here.
Early drop off is at 8:00 AM in the indoor playroom. Please bring your child to the front of the building and an educator will walk your child to the playroom.
Late pick up is at 4:00 PM in the indoor playroom. Please pull to the back parking lot and knock on the first door. Pickup must be by 4:00 PM. There is no one to watch the children after 4:00 PM.
