ASHAR’s bi-weekly Matnas Shabbos program, coordinated and led by Rabbi Shmuel Freedland, Boys Division Programming Coordinator. Through song, stories and treats, we hope to inspire minds and warm hearts, thus strengthening our talmidim’s appreciation of Hashem’s gift of Shabbos: Matnas Shabbos.
The first Matnas Shabbos assembly for first through third-grade boys was a success, and b’ezras Hashem, assemblies will continue on a bi-weekly basis throughout the school year. Make sure to ask your son to share the special pamphlet distributed at each assembly, featuring the week’s stories, niggunim and halachos, at your Shabbos table, and together experience the timeless gift of Shabbos!
